The Little Shabby Box is having it's first ever card contest! You can read the details below. Can't wait to see everyone's cards!

What: Create 2 Brand New never seen before cards based off of the 2 sketches below. Post them on your blog or gallery with "The little shabby box card contest" in the details and link them to the Mr. Linky box below with your Name. Please list them at the same time so it's easier for us to see both of your cards. (example Jane card #1, Jane card #2) If you put them both in one blog post that is even better. (example Jane Cards 1-2). Please be sure to post your cards by midnight PST December 14th 2009.
Now for the good stuff. We will be giving away 3 prize packages.
First place winner will win 3 months of our main kits, but you get to pick the months that you want. That's right. When you see a kit that you like send us an e-mail letting us know that you want it and we will generate a coupon for you for the price of the kit. I was recently selected to be part of the first design team over at The Little Shabby Box and wanted to share my new designs with their fabulous November "Be Merry" card kit! The kit is packed full of fantastic embellishments, ribbon, buttons, jounaling cards, and pp's from Making Memories and Dream Street. There is also a mini-kit that I will be designing with soon also. Be sure to stop over and pick up your kits before they are gone!
I thought I would share a couple of challenges for this month over at Scrapbook Dreamer. My one word challenge for the month has a little twist to it. It is to use a name in your title. It can be the name of a friend, child, pet, hubby, hometown, etc... I did my challenge on "jack" the halloween pumpkin that we carved!
My second challenge is a card challenge. And for the month of November it is to create a Thanksgiving card. Here's my card:
And last but not least, here is one of my monthly designs using the Loire Valley line by Kaisercraft. Love this line!

Of all of my favorite horror stories, Dracula is the one that draws me in time and again. Dracula was written in 1897 by Irish Author Bram Stoker, and has remained a favorite for readers and movie goers throughout the years. There have been several film adaptions; Dracula in 1931, Horror of Dracula in 1958, (and my favorite) Bram Stoker's Dracula in 1992.
My challenge is based on this legendary icon, and is for you to create a layout using the colors of Dracula; black and white for his attire and red for the color of blood. Can't wait to see your examples! Be sure to upload them in the gallery at Scrapbook Dreamer.

I thought I would share my latest layout with you that I made using the Harlee Quinnz Butterfly Garden line. I am absolutely in love with these fairy stamps! They are just amazing, and so much fun to work with. You should really take a look over there at all of their amazing products.
